Baby #3: Week 34

Baby Size: Butternut Squash or a baguette lol! About 17.7" long, head to heel and about 4.7 lbs.
Total weight gain: 23 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Yes, and trying to find the comfiest ones. I'm at the point where, although I still want to look "cute," I really want to be comfy!
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Sleep: It's been OK. Definitely not the comfiest anymore, but the body pillow helps a bit. Just getting up a zillion times a night to go pee. And baby boy seems to like to lay with his back all pressed up against my stomach at night, so it feels super tight.
Diet: Still eating well; fruits and veggies. I seem to enjoy having a cinnamon PopTart at night before bed...random. Used to never have PopTarts in the house but now I want to make sure there's a box in the pantry lol
Food cravings: Nothing really, besides I guess the cinnamon PopTarts
Anything making you queasy or sick? No, but my sense of smell is pretty good, and some things smell weird...like the other day I was cooking brown rice and it smelled like I was cooking some sort of meat.
Gender: Boy :-)
Labor signs: Nope; but I guess a few Braxton Hicks every now and then
Symptoms: Some swelling; although it's gone down on my hands so I can wear my ring! But my ankles or slight kankles now.
Belly button in or out? It's "neutral" lol It's basically out, but not like, STICKING out.
Wedding rings on or off: Off usually but can get it on! :-)
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy and super excited! But a little moody when I'm uncomfortable.
Best moment this week: Feeling what seems to be the baby's FOOT on the side of my stomach lol I mean, it kind of hurts a little, but at the same time was so cute and cool! I was like "Oh, hey there little footsie!" lol
Looking forward to: The next Dr. appointment; will find out if I'm dilated at all. Knowing my body and past births, probably won't be, but I do feel like this guy is going to come early.

Baby #3: Week 30

Baby Size: Large cabbage! About 15.7" long, head to heel and about 3 lbs.
Total weight gain: About 20 lbs...I'll update next time after the Dr. appt.
Maternity clothes? Have definitely been wearing it; plus some items I have that are just longer and still fit over the belly!
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Sleep: I've been sleeping pretty good, actually. Whenever I wake up in the middle of the night, I feel all stiff and heavy and...just ugh. But besides that, I'm doing pretty good. Have been waking up with achey fingers lately.
Diet: I've been trying to up my fruit intake, especially with Fall coming and sicknesses going around. Trying to keep this immune system up and strong and not get sick. Otherwise, been eating the same; well balanced diet of healthy carbs, fruits/veggies, healthy fats and protein.
Food cravings: Still none. I think it was just the tater tots during first trimester, and now they're all done lol
Anything making you queasy or sick? No
Gender: Boy
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Mainly still just the back pain. Oh, and swelling!! The ring is off, the feet are a bit swollen. Luckily all my shoes still fit, although maybe a little bit more snuggly.
Belly button in or out? Still sort of in the middle. I guess it's technically "in" still.
Wedding rings on or off: Off
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy with some days of crankiness...or moreso, shortness.
Best moment this week: Baby shower (last week) was so beautiful! Going through all the BOY clothes, blankies, etc; removing tags, thinking about organizing...I love getting everything ready! Makes the arrival even more exciting! I can't wait for baby boy to be here!!

Looking forward to: The next Dr. appointment. Finishing up babies room (painting soon!) and organizing closet.

Baby #3: Week 28

Baby Size: Large Eggplant! About 15" long, head to heel!

Total weight gain: About 20 lbs.
Maternity clothes? I got a couple 3/4 sleeve solid shirts, to start getting ready for the cooler months. And I whipped out all my old stuff, finally.
Stretch marks? No new ones; I'm rubbing lots of that almond oil on my belly EVERY night, so hopefully that's helping.
Sleep: I've finally whipped out the huge pregnancy pillow. It's been great having it and has really helped keep me comfortable. Yes, it's kind of obnoxiously huge (lol) but I have back support, belly support, throw one leg over it...kind of feels like I'm sucked up in a cloud!
Diet: I feel like I've been craving "healthier" options lately, so filling up on lots of fruit throughout the day, veggies at every dinner meal, and starting the day off right with a good breakfast. During the week, after my workouts, I also make my green/protein smoothie, just to get in those extra nutrients.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy some treats here and there...ice cream at night, or a couple cookies during the day ;-)~
Food cravings: None really, besides as mentioned above.
Anything making you queasy or sick? No
Gender: Boy
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Backache has really been ouchy. I've pinpointed some of the triggers though...sitting for too long, standing for too long (lol) orrrr sitting on the floor! If I'm up and walking around, that doesn't seem to bother it.
Belly button in or out? Kind of halfway point, lol I mean, it's not "out" but it'e certainly not "in," either.
Wedding rings on or off: Off :( I bought a fun little cheapy crystal ring to wear for now...however, it's a little too big; already flew off my hand once. oops
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy!
Best moment this week: I was in Reno for a work trip earlier this week and had a fun time seeing all my co-workers I only get to see 2x a year. Hearing/seeing their reactions was pretty fun. It's always interesting to hear all the different comments. But traveling with baby was kind of fun. Just knowing that I'm 'not alone' feels good :-)
Looking forward to: Baby shower in a week!! and more kicks! I'm so in love with all the movement! This little guy is a big time mover!!

Baby #3: Week 26

Baby Size: Scallion! About 14" long, head to heel!

Total weight gain: About 19 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Same stuff mostly; just bought a couple longer tees in the regular section that will fit over the belly.
Stretch marks? No new ones; just the few little ones from before.
Sleep: I've been sleeping OK; still using the pillows for support between legs and behind back.
Workouts: Still going strong, 5 days a week; feeling great!
Diet: About the same; continuing to try to get lots of good, healthy nutrients in, while enjoying the occasional ice cream in the evening :-)
Food cravings: None.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope! But my nose has been particularly sensitive lately! I smell everything really strongly.
Gender: Boy
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Backache and baby dancing in my tummy!
Belly button in or out? In, but starting to poke out a bit.
Wedding rings on or off: Off :( I've gotten swollen enough to the point where I can't get them on anymore.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy!
Best moment this week: The movements are continually making me super excited and happy!
Looking forward to: Baby shower soon!! and baby's arrival!

Baby #3: Week 24

Baby Size: Corn on the Cob! About 1 foot long, head to bootie!
Total weight gain: About 16 lbs.
Maternity clothes? I bought some tanks...in the regular section, but they're long...yay! and a cute new maternity dress!
Stretch marks? No new ones; just the few little ones from before.
Sleep: It's actually better than it has been the last few weeks. I started putting my mini Boppy between my knees and that seems to help a lot! Haven't whipped out the huge pregnancy pillow yet! lol I'm sure hubs will be thrilled when that thing takes over the bed!!! lol
Workouts: Awesome! Still going strong, 5 days a week; seeing some definition in the arms and trying to build those legs even stronger! Feeling great!
Diet: OK so for the most part, I'm good! I eat healthy meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but the snacks get the best of me some days. I have a bad habit of when I get home from work, I hit the pantry and stuff a handful of...something, in my mouth; whether it be chips, crackers, cereal...Not that it's the worst thing I could be doing, but it's also not contributing to A. good habits and B. the scale. My weight gain has kind of jumped in the last couple weeks and I want to keep it under control.
We have to remember that pregnancy is not an excuse to 'eat whatever we want' or eat crappy. Sure, indulge in those cravings sometimes and relax a little, but don't listen to all those who say "oh, you're pregnant, you're eating for 2!" or "you're pregnant, enjoy and eat whatever you want and as much as you want!" That's when people gain excess amounts of weight and then have a harder time shedding it...not to mention, it's not health for mom OR baby!
Food cravings: None in particular, just random snacking as mentioned above, on random things lol Actually, the other day buffalo sauce sounded good! But I didn't have it at my disposal, so didn't eat it! lol
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Gender: Boy
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Backache and baby dancing in my tummy!
Belly button in or out? In, but starting to poke out a bit. My daughters like poking at it lol
Wedding rings on or off: On...but sometimes off! Somedays I'm more swollen than others.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy 99% of the time! Last week I had a grumpy day :(
Best moment this week: The baby movements, always! Ah I can't describe how exciting it is, once again, even after multiple children, it never ceases to amaze me, just how miraculous and COOL carrying a child is! The kicks and movements are so freakin' cool!
Looking forward to: Baby shower in a month!! and of course baby's arrival!

Baby #3: Week 22

Baby Size: Spaghetti Squash! About 11" head to bootie!
Total weight gain: About 11 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Nothing new
Stretch marks? No new ones; just the few little ones from before.
Sleep: About the same. Same nights are worse, some are better. Back is starting to hurt more as I get/sit up.
Workouts: Going great. I took some time off while on a work trip, but hopped right back into it. It feels so great and I strongly believe it's why my back hasn't hurt as much...until recently!
Diet: Still getting lots of water in. Eating lots of these fabulous Summer berries and fruits. Loving watermelon (but not like I didn't before! hah!).
Haven't mentioned previously, I don't think, but we have been plant based since last year, and it's been going great, even for this pregnancy. For those who might be curious, yes, my doctor knows and yes, I've done plenty of research and learning and it is completely healthy (in fact better!). I have plenty of nutrients, vitamins and minerals; everything I need. I love knowing that my baby is super healthy getting all of those nutrients, and growing strong!
Food cravings: None really; kind of disappointing! haha! I wish there was something I craved. If anything, it's opposite. Nothing in particular ever sounds good (or bad, really). So that makes me even more indecisive!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope! But my nose has been particularly on point! I smell EVERYTHING, and so much more potently than before!
Gender: Boy
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: The backache is starting to intensify. And so are the kicks! Which I'm so in love with!
Belly button in or out? In, but starting to poke out a bit.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy! but a few days of irritability. I think mostly because I've been overwhelmed with a big load of work I've taken on.
Best moment this week: Feeling the baby move more. He's quite the little kicker and I absolutely love it! I get so excited every time I feel a move!
Looking forward to: The next doctor appointment in a couple weeks.

Baby #3: Week 20

Baby Size: Banana! About 6.5" head to bootie!
Total weight gain: About 9 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Nothing new
Stretch marks? No new ones; just the few little ones from before.
Sleep: The same; pretty good for the most part, but getting a little more uncomfortable. Mostly, though, because I have weird dreams, it's not even the physical uncomfort.
Workouts: We were on vacation so I took a week off!
Diet: Getting lots of water in, the occasional decaf latte, fruit - lots of berries in the mornings, apple mid-day, maybe some grapes or something later in the evening. Always veggies at dinner. Confession: I've having non-dairy ice cream pretty often in the evenings - I've since toned that habit down!!
Food cravings: Not really anything..hmm...I don't crave Mexican food as much as I did in the 1st trimester, although it's still one of my faves and I'll never say no to it! But nothing in particular sounds better than something else.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Gender: Still a boy..lol Should I delete this one off the questionnaire? I don't think it's going to change lol I mean, we know it's a boy from the DNA test, so it literally is accurate, unlike a possible ultrasound mis-read lol
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Backache. Belly. Lot's of peeing.
Belly button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy!
Best moment this week: Seeing baby boy on the ultrasound!! YAY It was awesome. Eventhough this is baby #3, it's just as special and exciting as the 1st (and 2nd)! This gift of life, and making it...It's so, so, so incredible!
Oh my gosh, and finally feeling bigger movements. So fun and exciting! They're getting stronger and more often; it's my favorite!!
Looking forward to: More movement!!

Baby #3: Week 18

*photo is from week 19*

Baby Size: A bell pepper...or croissant! About 5.5" head to bootie!
Total weight gain: About 8 lbs. (more accurate updates after dr. appts!)
Maternity clothes? I bought some shorts for our upcoming vacation! Yay! I'm loving the new side elastic panels instead of the entire belly band; makes for a more comfortable and flattering look. All my tops are still fitting normal.
Stretch marks? Nope. Rubbing that belly down with my almond oil every night!
Sleep: Good besides those bathroom trips. Oh, and lots of weird dreams! I hate when they actually affect you some times...I try not to let them get me in a funk, but a couple times they have!
Workouts: Working out and feeling great, still! The lower right side of my back has started to ache, like it had with my previous pregnancies. That sciatic nerve, I tell ya. But stretching, moving slow and pushing through!
Diet: Same, getting in all my nutrients and lots of water. It's nice that summer time is here, calls for lots of yummy fruits like my favorite: berries!!! and watermelon!
Food cravings: Not really any! But I have found that when it comes to sweets, I'm preferring tangy/sour as opposed to chocolate, which I'm normally a chocaholic!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Gender: Boy! Oh boy!!
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Backache. Belly. Lot's of peeing.
Belly button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy! 1% grumpy; usually affected by a weird dream :-/
Best moment this week: Hearing baby at a heartbeat check appointment! Always the best! Kind of exciting also that the belly has really popped out! Makes me feel like baby boy is really growing strong! Felt a couple of tiny movements; finally!! Yay!
Looking forward to: More movement!! and bigger kicks! I love that feeling and can't wait to experience it with this little GUY!!! Also, I can't WAIT to see him at the 20 week ultrasound coming up in a couple weeks!

Baby #3: Week 16

Hi!!
Welcome to my pregnancy journey with Baby #3!!!

I'm excited to share with you my feelings, experiences and photos in this exciting path to another baby! And guess what, after 2 girls, this time we're having a BOY!!! We're super excited to experience the joys - and differences - with a little boy and have our 2 beautiful little girls enjoy a little brother! We are beyond thrilled and excited to have you on this journey with us!
xoxo

The Youngs

Baby Size Avocado, donut, or chick! Oooorr 4.57"
Total weight gain: About 3 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Nothing new yet. I wore my jeans from last pregnancy once, but they were still too big! I kept having to pull them up.
Stretch marks? Nope! I keep lubing my tummy up with almond oil, so hopefully that will keep the stretchies at bay!
Sleep: Sleep is good!! I love my sleep!! lol I do wake up several times a night though....either having to go pee or one of the girls waking me up.
Workouts: I actually finally started working out again after a long break, and I'm loving being in the gym, hitting the weights and doing my HIIT workouts, knowing I'm going to stay so much stronger this pregnancy, healthier, and have a better recovery.
Diet: Making sure to keep my meals small and eat snacks between main meals. Trying to make sure I intake lots of fruit and veggies, whole grains and of course a ton of water.
Food cravings: Not really. During the first trimester, all that ever sounded good was Taco Time Mexi Fries..yummmm! oh and Daves Killer Bread with peanut butter. Lately, I haven't been craving anything. Although Mexican food just always sounds good!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nothing, luckily!
Gender: Boy!!! We found out a couple weeks ago with a BLUE cake! We are thrilled to be adding a little boy to the mix! Daddy is super excited, of course!
Labor signs: No!
Symptoms: Nothing major; after getting through the first trimester, where I was sick all the time, I've been doing pretty good so far in the 2nd trimester. Still feel bloated sometimes and super full and tight even after just eating slightly more than I should. A teeny bit of back pain starting.
Belly button in or out? In. It's been super itchy, lately. ??
Wedding rings on or off: On
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy 98% of the time; the other 2% is when I get grumpy because the girls aren't listening or fighting with eachother.
Best moment this week:  Checking my baby app on my switch day (Tuesday) to find out what baby is up to and how big!
Looking forward to: The next doctors visit; always excited to see how things are going. And VERY excited to start feeling the baby move!
