17 Weeks - Orange

How far along: 17 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: Still the 3 lbs. 

Baby Size: Orange ; 5.12" 4.94 oz. 

The Bump: Seems to be getting a little bigger!

Maternity clothes: Still just the tank tops and Belly Band

Stretch marks: Nope

How's sleep: Good but dream are at a heightened weirdness!

Miss anything: Not too much; besides eating/drinking certain things and doing handstands/headstands/kicks/jumps around the house (for those of you that don't know, I was a competitive gymnast most of my life and am now a dance/drill coach for a local high school), it's pretty much same old as not pregnant.

Baby movement: YES! I've felt it now about 3 different times. Last night there was actually quite a bit of movement (after I ate my Snickers ice cream bar!)! It's SO cool feeling! Nothing like the books/websites describe though; they say it's like hunger pains or butterflies flying around. To me if feels more like a little bubble popped, or someone flicked their finger lightly against my belly, but from the inside! I love it!

Food cravings: Sour grapefruit gummy candy

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope

Gender Prediction? It's not a prediction...we found out it's a GIRL!!!!

Belly button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy! Especially now knowing the sex and feeling movement!

Labor signs? Nope

Best moment this week? Feeling movement, finding out the gender and finding out the the blood test results for the genetic tests came back healthy!!!

Looking forward to: Feeling even more movement and finally telling the world that we're pregnant! And in a few weeks having daddy be able to feel the kicks!

16 Weeks - Avocado

How far along: 16 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: gained 3 lbs.

Baby Size: Avocado; 4.57" 3.53 oz. Woah! S/he's growing!

The Bump: Progressively getting a bit bigger. I still kind of feel like I just look like I'm "gaining weight thru the middle" lol Can't wait until it's an actual baby bump!

Maternity clothes: Still just the tank tops and Belly Band

Stretch marks: Nope, still nothing. BTW, I'm using a lot of lotion (Cetaphil), Palmers stretch mark lotion, and this ah-mazing Almond oil (smells edible!!!) made up of peanut, olive and lanolin oil and vitamin E. It's amazing! See images below.

How's sleep: Pretty much the same...definitely having very vivid and crazy dreams often!

Miss anything: Still deli meat and adult beverages. 

Baby movement: Not yet! I thought maaaybe I felt something the other day, but probably not.

Food cravings: I have been on a little grapefruit kick; beverages, sour candies, yummm!

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!

Gender Prediction? I still feel like it's a girl.

Best moment this week? Just knowing how much baby is growing and moving around!

Looking forward to: Doctors appt. at the end of this week and possibly/hopefully finding out the gender!

 

15 Weeks - Apple

I think it's time to step up the camera game. We've been using a cell phone to take the photos, but I'm thinking next week we'll start using the digital camera...proooobably will be a little better quality! 

How far along: 15 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: gained 1 lb.

Baby Size: Apple; 3.98" 2.47 oz.

The Bump: It's starting to show. People at work are starting to speculate and hubby teases me ever day I come home by saying, "you don't look pregnant." I guess I have been in denial of having a growing "bump" and just kept thinking it was the pudge; it is indeed the baby! :) 

Maternity clothes: I have bought a couple tank tops, but mainly because I like that they're super long! 

Stretch marks: Nope, still nothing.

How's sleep: Pretty much the same; good! *knock on wood* 

Miss anything: Still Jimmy Johns and wine...especially with the weather getting nice and patios at restaurants opening up!

Baby movement: Not yet, but can't wait to feel it!

Food cravings: Nothing really. Still enjoying berries

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!

Gender Prediction? I think it's a girl but hubby thinks (wants) a boy! I did the old "ring on a string above the belly" and that said girl...so does the Chinese gender prediction calendar.

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy! Had my 1st big emotional break down while watching the movie "The Miracle" (the hockey movie about how the USA beat the Soviets in the 1980 Olympics). That was pretty interesting! lol

Labor signs? Nope

Best moment this week? Starting to show a bump and just knowing how much baby is growing!

Looking forward to: Feeling the baby kick!!! and starting to go "public" with the pregnancy...telling co-works and friends.

14 Weeks - Lemon

This is my first post/bump photo! Bare with me, as I still have to figure some things out along the way...i.e. Make the chalk writing darker!

How far along: 14 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: gained 1 lb.

Baby Size: Lemon; 3.42" 1.52 oz.

The Bump: I've gotten "thicker"...my lil' pudge is sticking out more, but I don't think I'm "showing" a baby bump yet. My hubby things different. haha

Maternity clothes: Not yet, still fit in my same clothes, but did buy a Belly Band!

Stretch marks: Nope! Crossing my fingers that I won't have to answer "yes" to this question.

How's sleep: Fine so far, besides waking up to go pee in the middle of the night, EVERY night! And I have really crazy dreams-which I used to anyways, but not as often!

Miss anything: I am still able to do pretty much the same things as before; not too much has changed. However I do miss sandwiches with deli meat! Especially Jimmy Johns! Ok...and I miss having that occasional glass of wine!

Baby movement: Not yet, but can't wait to feel it!

Food cravings  No super cravings, really, but I have been enjoying Jack in the Box tacos! I can eat them like they're going out of style. I've been big on berries ever since the 1st trimester.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Not anymore, thank goodness. The 1st trimester was real bad! Lot's of things made me queasy, especially meat-even just the smell of it!
